Recovery Start Intensives - Healing from Sexual Addiction

The Recovery Start Intensives are 5-day intensives designed to build or restore a strong foundation for your recovery from sex, porn and love addictions. During this time you will be assessed for the best treatment plan for you, you will receive individual therapy, education and well thought-out support and an after-care plan to continue your work, once the intensive is complete.

As part of the intensive you will be focusing on several areas of learning and insight:

- Breaking through denial; recognizing the "addict mind"
- Establishing sobriety
- Learning how addiction affects our brains and neuropathways
- Building a personal toolbox to prevent relapse
- Understanding how change occurs
- Influence of family of origin
- Insight into origination of the addiction

Additionally, you will work on a new vision for your life, sexuality and relationships.

When and where does the intensive meet?
Our 5-day Recovery Start Intensive meets at our downtown Chicago office conveniently located to parking and a variety of public transportation. Recovery Start Group Intensives meet for 5 Saturdays over the course of five consecutive weeks. This allows for minimal interruption from work responsibilities and other commitments.

How do I know if the intensive is right for me?
Recovery Start Intensive candidates may struggle to stop or control their behavior in any of these areas:

- Internet Pornograpy
- Massage Parlors/Prostitutes
- Anonymous Sex
- Online Peep Shows
- Multiple Affairs/Relationships
- Sex Addiction

Women's Intensive - Healing from sex, love, and relationship addiction

Our women's intensive spans 5 days and is designed to restore and facilitate healing in relationships fractured through sex, love or relationship addictions. During this time you will be assessed for the best treatment plan for you, you will receive individual therapy, education and well thought-out support and an after-care plan to continue your work, once the intensive is complete.

Complicated Relationships Intensive Workshop for Women

The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate understanding and healing in a safe place with other women on a similar journey. Throughout the four day process of education and experiential work, we will explore how we may have arrived in a place from which we experience complication and pain in relationships. Our relational challenges may arise from our partner's painful addictive behavior or we may be experiencing painful patterns ourselves. We will acknowledge and identify what it looks and feels like to be here, in this painful place. With this understanding, we will focus and develop a plan of healing for how we might transform our futures.

Couples Intensives

Couples Living from the Inside Out intensives offer skill building to create and maintain healthy relationships. These skills include authentic intimacy development, effective communication, and forgiveness, leading to deeper commitment. We will also address how generational influences, old wounds, and relationship patterns impact our present relationships. These intensives are designed to meet couples at various stages of their relationship, even if divorce or separation is being contemplated.

Couples Living from the Inside Out intensives meet for 3½ days on a Wednesday - Saturday schedule
